How it works

Browse normally

Open any Zillow, Realtor.com, Apartments.com, or Rent.com listing in your browser.

Click the bookmark

Tap "Save to RentRoof" in your bookmarks bar. A small popup appears.

Done

The listing is parsed and saved to your feed. The popup closes in 5 seconds.

Chrome / Edge / Brave

  1. Make sure your bookmarks bar is visible (⌘⇧B on Mac / Ctrl+Shift+B on Windows).
  2. Drag the purple "Save to RentRoof" button above directly onto the bookmarks bar.
  3. It will appear as a bookmark. Done.
  4. Can't drag? Right-click the button → Bookmark this link, then move the bookmark to your bar.

Firefox

  1. Show the bookmarks toolbar: View → Toolbars → Bookmarks Toolbar.
  2. Drag the "Save to RentRoof" button to the bookmarks toolbar.
  3. If dragging doesn't work, right-click the button → Bookmark This Link.
  4. Move the bookmark to the toolbar folder and you're set.

Safari

  1. Show the favorites bar: View → Show Favorites Bar.
  2. Drag the "Save to RentRoof" button onto the favorites bar.
  3. Safari blocks JavaScript bookmarks via drag on some versions. If that happens:
  4. Right-click → Add Bookmark…, then see the URL method below.

Safari — manual URL method

If Safari won't let you drag a javascript: bookmark, you can set it manually:

  1. Bookmark any page first (⌘D), name it Save to RentRoof.
  2. Open Bookmarks → Edit Bookmarks.
  3. Find the bookmark, right-click → Edit Address.
  4. Paste the code below into the address field and save.
